Training Objectives

This PowerPoint training session creates a heightened awareness on the part of attendees regarding the issues involved in union organizing, the labor law, indicators of union activity, union prevention measures, as well as appropriate supervisory conduct during a union campaign.

We will discuss how union organizing drives get started and the crucial role supervisors play in preventing this activity, including how to avoid incurring unfair labor practice charges.

Much of the session is participative, with attendees completing checklists and questionnaires. Most segments include discussion among the participants.

Duration of Session

This session is generally a half-day (four hour) meeting. We are prepared to schedule this training to occur at your convenience.
