The Successful Supervisor

Overview

Nine out of ten union organizing drives are created by inadequate or ineffective supervision. Supervisors who are unskilled in the ability to manage employee concerns and managerial communication create inefficiencies, costly rework, customer dissatisfaction, allegations of favoritism, discrimination and poor treatment on the part of employees.

Training Objectives

This series emphasizes goal setting/goal accomplishment in each skill topic. The modules are designed to involve the participant in setting and discussing goals with client management. The entire program underscores the importance of effective supervision and supervisory skill building.

Utilizing a Personal and Organizational Goals Program, the participant develops goals that increase their effectiveness on the job.

Duration of Session

This unique workshop is conducted in half day sessions, every one/two weeks, over a 12-15 week time span. Sessions can be conducted at your site or ours.

Learning Materials

All participants receive a Seminar Topics Binder, Managerial/Supervision Action Planning Binder and a series of Topic Audio Tapes used to reinforce session work.
